Free Things to Do in Europe
The Dead Sea in Jordan isn't the only lake in Europe that people can float in. There's also the incredibly pink lake in Torrevieja, Spain that's not only home to massive amounts of salt, but also to unique microorganisms that give the water (and later, flamingos!) its lovely pink color.
But though they might sound like something from an alien planet, they're actually completely harmless to humans, though if you have any open wounds it's going to burn like crazy. Not because of the microorganisms, mind you, but because 'rubbing salt in one's wounds' isn't a torturous phrase for no reason!
London and its surroundings might get the majority of the attention from tourists heading to the United Kingdom, but it's the Lake District that will always be the main attraction to us. With colorful hills like you've never seen, only one lake (but a lot of tarns, waters, and meers!), and a powerful history that you can't help but feel as you wonder through the ruins and stone circles, under the waterfalls and over the mountain hikes, it's one of my favourite places in the world...even with all the rain!
Unfortunate, but necessary ad break so I can keep supplying you guys with awesome information and fun entertainment. (:
